DEMONSTRATION OF SAFE OPERATION (DOSO)

Control of Major Accident Hazards Regulations 1999 has been enacted by the Malaysian Government in 1996. All industries handling hazardous materials are required to evaluate their storage and usage of such materials to identify if they are under the Major Hazards categories or otherwise. Industries are required to prepare Activity Report (CIMAH Report or Demonstration of Safe Operation (DOSO) upon decision made by the DG of DOSH.

As such, full understanding of this Regulation is very important to ensure compliance and to ensure safety of the plant and personnel are taken into account by the management of the company.

This training is to enable the non-major hazard installation to prepare their own DOSO report or at lease able to monitor and review reports prepared by a third party.
